Description
Two headstones, dating from 1776 and 1797, are located 1 metre to the east of the chancel of the Church of St Nonna in Pelynt. One headstone commemorates Riginald Hunking, while the other is in memory of Dorothy, the wife of John Hunking. Both headstones are made of slate. The headstone for Riginald features a nowy head and has an inscription in lower case with serifs. The headstone for Dorothy has ovolo-moulded corners and is well inscribed with both upper and lower case lettering, also with serifs.
