SX 07 NE ST KEW 6/166 Milestone 250m to south west of - Polroad Cottages II Milestone. Possibly 1837. Granite post, rectangular-on-plan with round top. Incised inscription with black painted lettering ' 5 and bench mark. CAM' On Turnpike road between Camelford and Wadebridge. (see Acts 33 Geo. II cap xiii (1760), 22 Geo. III cap. civ (1782), 1-2 Vic. cap. vi, 38-9 Vic. cap. cxciv). Plan and section of new line of road from St Kew Highway to Knights Mill date 1837 in Cornwall Record Office. (Official PD/T/3/1 (T)).
