Description

This is a pair of gate-piers located at the west entrance to Lamellen, southeast of Lamellen Lodge, dating from around the mid-19th century. The gate-piers are made of granite ashlar and are square in shape, topped with moulded pyramidal caps. There is also a possibly late 19th-century timber gate featuring a lattice design.
