Description
Lamellen Lodge is a lodge built in the mid 19th century. It is constructed from slate stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. The central axial stack is rendered and has three diagonally set brick shafts, with an additional brick stack on the right-hand gable end.
The lodge has an overall T-shaped plan, consisting of three rooms. The front central wing and the left-hand room are heated by the central axial stack, while the right-hand room is heated by an end stack. The entrance is located at the angle between the right-hand room and the front wing.
The exterior is two storeys high and almost symmetrical, with a three-window front. The window openings have dressed stone segmental arches and feature two and three-light casements with lattice-pattern mid 19th-century glazing bars. There are also 20th-century roof lights. The interior has not been inspected.
