Description

Croft Prince is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features walls made of killas rubble with brick arches above the openings. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and slopes down at the rear, with brick chimneys located at the gable ends. The building has a double-depth plan, consisting of two front rooms on either side of an entrance hall that leads to a stair hall, with rear service rooms and possibly original full-depth lean-tos at both ends.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front facing south-south-west, with a central doorway. The openings have segmental brick arches above them. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a latticed overlight. The windows are 20th-century 16-pane horned sashes. The lean-tos on the far left and right are enclosed by high coped rubble walls, each featuring a pointed-arched doorway. These lean-tos have 20th-century ledged doors with overlights and glazed tympana. The interior has not been inspected.
