Description
This is a headstone dated 1789, located 8 meters to the east of the north aisle of the Church of St Ildierna in Lansallos. It commemorates William Langmaid of Polperro. The headstone is made of slate and features a nowy head. The inscription is in lower case lettering with serifs and includes a verse that reads: "Fairwell to earthly joys and pains With me they all do End. I hope to have more lasting Gains With Christ the Sinners Friend..."
