Description

This is an early 19th century granite ashlar terrace comprising numbers 1 to 5, South Parade, Penzance. The building is three storeys high, with a semi-basement and attics, and has five windows. Architectural features include recessed architraves, sash windows with glazing bars, two string courses, and six wide pilasters. The doorways have a semi-circular head and a fanlight above. The roofs are slate-covered with a variety of dormers, and there is a simple eaves moulding. Numbers 1 to 5, South Parade, are grouped with numbers 1 to 9, Morrab Terrace.
