Description

This small farmhouse, located approximately 35 metres south of Ivey Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a front made of roughly-hewn granite ashlar and granite rubble. The roof is a fairly steep grouted scantle slate, with original dressed granite stacks at the gable ends that have been heightened with brick. The building has cast-iron ogee-section gutters.

The farmhouse has a two-room plan, likely with a lobby and a staircase between the rooms, with the kitchen on the left and a parlour on the lower ground on the right. There is a 19th-century single-storey wash house extension on the left side. The exterior is two storeys high and has a slightly asymmetrical front with two windows and an approximately central doorway, which is within a possibly original or 19th-century small open-fronted granite porch. The door is a 20th-century top-glazed design, and the windows are also 20th-century but fit within the original openings. The single-storey wash house on the left has a doorway on its right with an old ledged door. The interior has not been inspected.
