  1. First built in 1392. C17 south pier. Built of large granite blocks and partly rubble. Surmounted on the seaward side by a protecting wall, ramped at top. Flights of steps. Extended mid C19. North pier, built mid C19, seaward protecting wall with rough-hewn coping. Including harbour walls and the wharf along west of harbour, granite rubble, flights of steps.
