Description

Probably dating from the early 19th century, Nos. 2 and 3, Wharf Cottages, are constructed of rubble with a slate roof featuring gable ends. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows. The ground floor windows are large two-light casements and sashes without glazing bars. A carriageway is located to the left, featuring a granite lintel. The first floor at the rear has been stuccoed, and stone stairs lead to the first-floor doorways. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value, forming part of a cluster alongside Mrs. Wakfer’s Cottage, Nos. 1 to 3 Wharf Cottages, the William Fisher Gallery, and Wharf House.
