Description

The Brazilly tombs, located approximately 30 metres north of the Church of St Phillack in Hayle, are a pair of chest tombs from the early 19th century, dedicated to the Brazilly family. They feature dressed granite monolithic sides with panels in relief and moulded granite lids, and are rectangular in shape. The southern chest commemorates James Brazilly, who died in 1843, while the northern chest is for Mary Jane Brazilly, who died in 1830.
