Description

The Daymark is a navigation tower located at Stepper Point, Padstow. It is possibly from the early 19th century and is constructed of stone rubble in a hollow design. The tower is circular in shape and was originally lime-washed. Standing high on the cliffs, it served as a guide for mariners entering the Camel estuary. The entrance features narrow slit openings above.
