9/214 Skues tomb at approximately 2 - metres south of Church of St Mawnan

GV II

Chest tomb. Early C19. To Grace, daughter of H and W Noye of Falmouth and wife of Richard Skues of Helston, died 1821 aged 20. Dressed granite chest with inscribed slate inset to the limestone lid. Rectangular plan. The chest has plinth, ashlar sides and stepped lid. The lower, tier of the lid is sloping, the upper tier has dressed granite sides and moulded limestone lid.
