Description

This chest tomb, located 3 metres from the north-west corner of the north aisle of Boconnoc Parish Church, dates from the 17th century. It is made of slate stone and is inscribed with the name Grace Bowen, who died in 1821. The tomb is a rectangular chest constructed from ashlar stone, featuring moulded, undecorated panels on all four sides. It has a moulded lid and plinth, and is topped with a plain slate slab that bears the inscription.
