Description

The Jubilee Drinking Fountain in Canford Park is a drinking fountain built in 1897, designed in the Gothic Revival style. It is constructed from pennant and limestone ashlar, as well as granite. The fountain has a square plan and features two steps leading up to a square plinth. It is supported by granite columns with foliate capitals that frame stepped arches around plaques. At the top, there is an obelisk adorned with small gablets. Originally, this fountain was located at the site of the War Memorial in Westbury on Trym.
