House, now offices. c1830. Roughcast with ashlar dressings and a slate hipped roof. Italianate style. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 7-window range. Early C19 right-hand block linked by a semicircular carriage arch to a later extension, with deep eaves on brackets. The right-hand block has a slightly projecting right-hand end, containing an elliptical-arched doorway, C20 door and good fanlight, and consoles to a cornice; 6/6-pane and 8/8-pane sashes, and a 10/10-pane sash to right of door, in flush boxes; the left-hand block has three C20 windows, with a right-hand semicircular-arched stair light; one C20 window over the arch. The rear elevation is symmetrical with projecting ends, and semicircular-arched ground-floor arches to the ground with C20 glazing, linked by impost band, and wrought-iron basket balconies on the first floor. INTERIOR: modernised c1970; central stair well with a dogleg stair, ramped rail, stick balusters and column newels, and an oval lantern with plaster swag.
