Description

The pier and railings, dating from the early 19th century, extend approximately 440 meters around the gardens in Clifton, Bristol. They are constructed from pennant rubble and wrought iron. At the western end of the gardens, there is an octagonal capped pier, and the surrounding area features wrought-iron spear-headed railings. These elements are likely contemporary with the nearby Royal York Crescent.
