Description
The College Tavern is a public house that was originally built as a house in the late 18th century. It features a limestone ashlar façade and a slate mansard roof, with a double-depth plan and a late Georgian style. The building has three storeys and an attic, with a four-window range. The ground floor has been altered in the 20th century to accommodate the public house front. There is a second-floor sill band, a moulded cornice, and a parapet. The windows have chamfered arrisses and consist of 6/6-pane sashes. The mansard roof, also from the 20th century, includes two casements. The interior has not been inspected.
