Description
No. 20 Christmas Steps is an attached house that has been converted into a shop and office. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of render and brick, featuring a brick lateral stack and a pantile roof. The building has a single-depth plan and stands three storeys high with a three-window range. The façade is parapeted and includes a 20th-century shop front, with 6/6-pane sash windows above in flush frames, which are recessed and horned on the second floor. The left side of the building has a lateral stack and two irregularly-placed windows. The interior was remodeled in the 20th century. This building is included for its group value.
