Description

Bradley House, now a retirement home, was built in the mid to late 18th century. It is a double-depth plan building with a right-hand extension. The exterior is roughcast, with coped gable ends and brick end stacks. The roof is a concrete-tiled mansard, with a pantile roof to the right-hand block. The design is of the Mid Georgian style. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-window front and a two-window range on the right. The front features a six-panel door with a rectangular overlight, sheltered by a bracketed canopy. There are eight-pane sashes on the ground floor and six-pane sashes on the first floor. Three dormers with sloping roofs light the attic. The right-hand block has plate-glass sashes with cambered heads. The interior was not inspected.
