Description

This is a late 16th or early 17th century house, located to the rear of number 30 High Street, Shirehampton. The building is constructed of rubble with brick end stacks and a pantile roof. It follows a single-depth plan with an outshut projecting to the left. The two-storey facade features a three-window arrangement. A central half-glazed door provides access, and 18th century casement windows are fitted with horizontal glazing bars. Rubble label moulds are positioned above the window openings, and the first-floor windows are located within large, gabled eaves dormers. Inside, a central through passage is present, along with a rebuilt rear winder stair that has been opened into one room. The interior retains beams with moulded chamfers and run-out stops.
