Description

The Jubilee Drinking Fountain is a cast-iron drinking fountain located on the south side of The Green in Shirehampton, built in 1897. It features an ornate canopy supported by four fluted columns, which frame cusped semicircular arches and a domed top. The canopy includes round panels, one of which displays a relief of Queen Victoria. Below the canopy is a basin that is topped with an urn, which has a pelican finial. A similar fountain can be found on Clifton Down.
