Description

No. 5 The Green is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of stucco and features end stacks with a pantile hipped roof, showcasing a late Georgian style. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The front is symmetrical and has a moulded coping along the parapet that extends around the sides. There is a bracketed canopy above the doorway, and the ground floor includes mid-19th century canted bays with pilasters supporting 6/6-pane sash windows, along with flanking 2/2 sash windows. The first floor has 6/6-pane sashes, while the second floor features 3/3-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
