Description
The garden walls and orangery, located approximately 100 metres southeast of Merley House, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick with stone caps and feature a tiled roof. The structure has a roughly square plan, with a rectangular orangery on the south side that has splayed corners and large sash windows with flat heads. There are two corner pavilions topped with pyramidal roofs. The northern boundary of the garden walls has a series of convex curves and includes a central segmental-arched doorway with rusticated brick jambs. There is also a doorway in the west wall. This structure is associated with Merley House.
