Description

The rear garden wall at No 29 on High Street is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick. It stands about 10 feet high and features buttresses and an archway. This wall forms the southern boundary of the pathway leading from High Street to Druitt Gardens.

The wall is part of a group that includes Nos 25 to 29 (odd), No 31, and Nos 43 and 45, along with the walls at the rear of No 29 and those in Druitt Gardens. This group is associated with the Town Hall and Nos 38, 38A, 42 to 46 (even), as well as the Ship Hotel located across the street. Notably, No 25, No 31, No 45, Nos 38, 38A, and No 46 are recognized as buildings of local interest.
