Description

The walls in Druitt Gardens, dating from the 18th century to early 19th century and earlier, are constructed of stone rubble and red brick. They stand approximately 7 feet high, with some sections rising to between 5 and 8 feet. These walls, along with the walls at the rear of No 29, contribute to a group that includes the Town Hall and Nos 38, 38A, 42 to 46 (even), and the Ship Hotel opposite. Notable buildings of local interest in this group include No 25, No 31, No 45, Nos 38, 38A, and No 46.
