Description

24 Bargates is an early 18th century or later brick building with grey brick headers and an old tiled roof, part slate, with a rendered rear facade. The building was constructed in two phases and features buttresses on each facade. It is two storeys high and includes a hipped dormer window. The front has four bays, with unbarred sash windows in each. A six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, is set beneath a bracketed hood. The building forms a group of local interest with the former Watch and Clock Fusee Chain Factory and numbers 22 and 24, along with the Priory Garage.
