Description

Church Farm is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features pantile roofs with raised coped verges. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The façade includes two windows with three-light ovolo-moulded mullion casements, which flank a 20th-century glazed door that is sheltered by a hood on brackets. There are also two 20th-century roof lights. At the rear, the lower gabled wing has a central two-light ovolo-moulded mullion casement, with similar windows in the gable ends of the main block. A 20th-century lean-to extension is present at the rear. Although the interior has been much altered, it still features scroll stopped chamfered beams.
