Description

The Rectory, located on Rectory Lane in Timsbury, dates from around 1820 and has been resashed. It is constructed of ashlar and rubble, topped with a triple roman tile roof featuring raised coped verges. This two-storey building has three windows on the front facade. The ground floor, which is below a plat band, features two-pane Venetian windows on either side of a square porch. The porch is supported by corner pilasters and is topped with a cornice and parapet. Each side of the porch has a round-headed recess, with the front recess containing a fanlight above a six-panel door. The first floor has two-pane sash windows and a cornice parapet. The return elevations made of rubble have been altered. Inside, there is an open well staircase with stick balusters and a wreath.
