Description
This is a small two-storey gabled outbuilding, built around the 18th century, located approximately 15 meters west of Lyncombe Court. The structure is made of rubble and features a double Roman tile roof.
The building is set across a slope and includes a conservatory at the lower gable end, which has a fifteen-pane casement window above and a three-light casement window below. The long front of the building faces Lyncombe Court and includes a large quatrefoil oculus above a small elliptical recess, along with a well-crafted plank and nail door set in a flat ogee head, all framed in flush ashlar surrounds. The rubble walling in the area contains several inset fossils. To the right, there is a three-light casement window with stone chamfered mullions, and at the upper end, there is a plank door leading to the upper level. This outbuilding is an important part of the group that includes Lyncombe Court.
