Description

The pump and wall, located about 65 metres west of The Firs in Chelwood Village, date from the 19th century. The structure features a cast iron pump mounted on a shaft with shaft rings, complete with a spout and handle. The wall behind the pump is constructed from drystone rubble, measuring approximately 2 metres long and about 0.5 metres high, with short returns at either end.
