Description

The Bell or Charles chest tomb in Lansdown Cemetery is a chest tomb dating from around 1865, constructed from limestone and designed in the Gothic Revival style. It features a low profile on a moulded base, with the sides panelled with cusped quatrefoils. The tomb has a stepped lid that includes an inlaid copper inscription dedicated to Marian Charles.
