Description
This is a group of four tomb chests located immediately east of St Margaret's Church, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are made of limestone with brick cores. One tomb chest is dedicated to George Belson, who died in 1853, and another commemorates Thomas Manly and his wife, who passed away in 1802. The tomb chests are generally heavily overgrown, making the inscriptions difficult to read. Each chest features varied designs, all with moulded caps and plinths, and includes inscription panels. One of the chests has decorative swags flanking its inscription panels and supports a smaller chest with inclined sides.
