Description

The Mageris chest tomb, located in Lansdown Cemetery, dates from around 1849 and is made of pennant stone. It features sharply battered sides and a stepped overhanging lid with a cove. The inscriptions on the tomb are worn due to a design fault related to the batter. The tomb commemorates Licia Mageris, who died in 1849.
