Description
Charlcombe Grove Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse constructed with rendered walls featuring freestone quoins and dressings. It has a double Roman tiled roof and later brick stacks. The building is designed in an L-shape and consists of two storeys with two bays. On the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window with edge roll moulded surrounds set beneath a large relieving arch. The first floor features two-light casement windows with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. A 20th-century door is located to the right.
To the right, there is a lower two-bay wing that is set back. The rear elevation is made of rubble and has a stone slate roof, with two-light casement windows in moulded surrounds. The east gable end has windows similar to those on the north front, but with three lights on the first floor, both featuring relieving arches. The rear gabled wing also includes two-light casements in ovolo moulded surrounds.
