Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of rubble with a slate roof featuring coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are casements with edge roll moulded mullions; the 4-light casements on the ground floor have king mullions, while the central 2-light window on the first floor features ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. Evidence of earlier windows is visible on the first floor. The central entrance has a plank door set under a 4-centred arch lintel with an ogee/ovolo moulded surround and a keyed oval panel in a square above. This represents a building of group value.
