Description

White Ox Mead Farmhouse is a house dating to the late 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in 1838, as indicated by a datestone reading JC/WA/M. The house is built of rubble and has a slate roof with coped raised verges. The north-west elevation has five bays and features casement windows with ovolo moulded mullions, in 2-, 3-, and 4-light arrangements, all under drip moulds. A six-panel door is situated to the right of the elevation, protected by a decorative overlight. A return elevation to the south-west also features casement windows with ovolo moulded mullions in 2-, 3-, and 4-light arrangements.
