Description

Church House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed rubble with slate roofs featuring raised, coped verges. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has four windows on the front elevation. These are mostly two-light, reserved hollow moulded mullion casements, except for the ground floor window on the right, which has three lights. Continuous strings run over both floors of the windows. An off-centre, gabled porch with a saddlestone is present on the right side of the facade. The house has very tall, plain eaves, and a single window, matching the others, is set into each gable at attic level.
