Description

This is a farmhouse dating from the mid-17th century, with an extension added in the mid-18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble and has a pantile roof with raised, coped verges. It is two storeys tall and has three windows on the front elevation. The ground floor windows are three-light casements; those to the left have ovolo-moulded frames and mullions beneath a hood mould, while those to the right have edge-moulded mullions. A 20th-century plank door is positioned centrally, set within a bolection-moulded door frame and above a decorative shell hood supported by brackets. The first floor has a two-light casement to the left, matching the ground floor fenestration, and a three-light casement to the right, which interrupts a continuous string course. The building has a plain cornice and parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The property possesses group value from its contribution to the historic landscape.
