Description
The outbuildings at the Crown Inn, located to the northwest of the public house, are a pair of barns or malthouses dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are constructed of random rubble with freestone dressings and quoins, topped with Cotswold stone slate and modern tiled roofs featuring coped raised verges. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the elevation facing Bathford Hill, there are two gable ends, each with a circular pitching hole, and a two-light casement window with an ovolo moulded mullion on the ground floor. The elevation facing Ostlings Lane has two modern vehicle entries on the ground floor, along with a two-light casement window that has a moulded stone mullion and a plank loft door on the first floor.
