Description

The railway bridge over Bradford Road was built around 1840 for the Great Western Railway, designed by engineer I.K. Brunel. It features ashlar and coursed, squared rubble construction. The bridge has a single large segmental arch, complete with imposts, channelled voussoirs, and a keystone. There are pilasters on the sides, along with a frieze and a shallow triangular parapet.
