Description

This boundary marker, dating from 1827, was erected for the Bath Turnpike Trust. It is made of stone and stands 3 feet high. The marker has a triangular shape with a half pyramidal top. The inscription on it reads "BATHEASTON 1827 BATHFORD" above "BATH/TURNPIKE/TRUST."
