Description

Two attached houses on Bristol Road, Keynsham, date from the late 18th century. They are rendered with ashlar copings and have a gabled pantile roof, topped by a central brick stack with a tall rendered cap. Each house is two storeys high with a two-window front. Number 26, on the right, has a doorway to the right of the facade and one window on the ground floor. Number 28 has a central doorway flanked by windows on either side. All windows are 12-pane sash windows set in plain reveals with sills. They have part-glazed plank doors sheltered by flat hoods supported by brackets. The interiors have not been inspected. The houses form a group with number 24.
