Description
Euras House is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone minor alterations in the 20th century. The exterior is rendered with ashlar copings and features a gabled single-Roman tile roof on the main section, while the rear extension has a slate roof. There are end ashlar stacks.
The style of the building is Mid Georgian, and it has a double-depth plan with a later rear extension at the north-west corner. The house is two stories high and has a symmetrical east front with a central doorway, cornice, and a blind parapet. The windows on the outer bays are 16-pane sashes set in plain reveals with cambered heads and sills, while the central first-floor window is a 12-pane sash in a similar opening. The doorcase includes pilasters, an open pediment supported by brackets, a round-arched doorway with a 6-panel door, and a spoked fanlight. There are also two cruciform metal braces at mid-floor level. The interior has not been inspected.
