Description

No. 2 Bath Road is a mid-19th century estate cottage built for the Inigo-Jones estate. The building features coursed rubble with freestone dressings and has a slate roof with coped raised verges on moulded kneelers and ashlar stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with glazing bar sash windows set in plain stone surrounds. To the right, there is a porch made of ashlar with a segmental headed doorway and two outer round-headed lights, all adorned with keystones. At the back, there is a gabled rear wing. This cottage is part of an intact and unaltered mid-Victorian estate village.
