Description

Nos. 3 and 4 on Bath Road in Kelston are a pair of estate cottages, likely built in the late 17th century and altered in the mid-19th century for the Inigo-Jones estate. The cottages are constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and feature a pantiled roof with coped raised verges and rendered stacks. They stand two storeys tall and have four single casement windows and two 2-light casement windows on the ground floor, along with three 3-light casements on the first floor. All windows are set in chamfered mullions and surrounds. The central doors are located under hipped roofs supported by slender cast iron columns. These cottages are part of an intact and unaltered mid-Victorian estate village.
