Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located 10 yards east of the south-east corner of the south aisle of the Parish Church of St. Nicholas. It is constructed of ashlar and features corner consoles, shield panels, an urn finial, and a moulded cornice. The chest tombs are a notable collection of classical and traditional tomb designs and enhance the setting of the church.
