Description

The gatepiers located to the west of Gournay Court date from the late 17th century and are constructed of ashlar. They stand 1.5 metres high and are square in shape. The gate jambs are topped with scroll designs, and there are moulded cornices along with pineapple finials. The structure is complemented by two semi-circular steps.
