Description

This farm building, located 100 yards southwest of the aqueduct over Cam Brook, dates from around 1803 and was constructed for the Somersetshire Canal Company. It is built into a bank or hillside and features coursed, squared rubble with a square-headed doorway made of ashlar. The interior boasts an ashlar barrel vault. This building is noted as a rare survival of structures associated with the Somersetshire Coal Canal.
