Description

11 Upper Lansdown Mews is a garden house and stable dating from around 1820, associated with No. 11 Lansdown Crescent. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and rubble, with slate roofs that are hipped towards the street. The exterior features a crenellated wall facing the garden, which includes three blind Gothic arched windows. The interior has not been inspected. This building is an example of the more grand mews structures linked to significant developments from this period. Lansdown Crescent itself was designed by John Palmer and built in 1792.
